A quarterly journal "Sydney Views"is produced featuring research articles on Australian States & Colonial stamps and postal history.
Visitors are most welcome.
The first book to deal with the postal history aspects of the first postage stamp issued in Australia is scheduled to be published by Australian States Study Circle of The Royal Sydney Philatelic Club in May 2013. At approximately 300 A4 pages, extensively illustrated in colour and black and white, this is a high-quality production on acid-free paper that will be saddle-stitched, hardbound in buckram and feature a colour dust jacket.
The book explores and explains the use of the Sydney Views and encompasses local, inland, inter-colonial and overseas mail and dovetails their relationship to contemporary postal rates, routes and markings. The highlight is an exhaustive census of every traced example of mail bearing these issues.
